In person appearance fee varies based on demand, distance, etc.
If your gig is close to my home in 90035 and it is not a holiday, it will probably come in at $450.00 (30 to 40 minute standup show).
Corporate gigs might go as high as $900.00 to $1500.00.
If you wish your show to run longer, that can be negotiated.
If engaged to perform strolling/walkaround magic (like at a wedding reception) to little groups or couples throughout a party, my rate in L. A. (near 90035) is usually $675.00 first hour and $375.00 each additional hour.
Everything is negotiable, however.
Not all of my clients have deep pockets, and everyone deserves excellent entertainment.
A single mom will pay less than a CEO (unless she is both ;-)
...whatever does not present a hardship for the client.
Once we have negotiated appropriate terms, I request a 50% deposit ahead of time to secure the date.
